What was I working on one year ago?

A scroll through my photo album is a running record of what was happening in the studio exactly one year ago.  I see the various stages paintings go through as they are shaped into completion.

Maybe you take photos of the evolving stages of your craft too.

Look carefully and you’ll find windows of opportunity in the “not yet done” phases.

The moments between here and there offer multiple times to think YES, that’s a good direction; but not now.

Well, now is my time to gather up the YES and not be concerned about THERE.

Here is one possibility.  I love the lusciousness of the colors and the simplicity.

It came from this large painting that was not yet done.

That painting turned into this large diptych that has already been exhibited in a gallery.

Feels like starter dough.

XOXO,

Francesca
