Not at all!
That’s the wonderful aspect of encaustic. It plays fair. No “art” experience needed. Often it’s the “artists” who get most frustrated because they come in with expectations, rules that don’t apply to a hot liquid and high standards.
I’ve set the summer schedule and there is room for privates, special groups, birthday parties; whatever you come up with. Spread the word. Maybe give it a try yourself!
