The burst of sun these past few days has definitely influenced my palette. Not only is it flush with Spring but my energy is up and I’m back in the studio every day. Coffee cups are stacking up and my medium supply is going down. The treble and the bass of creating.
My beginning grid above of 4 has been pulled apart and are now individual paintings that can stand on their own. I wanted to maintain a flow from one painting to another, yet I’ve learned that it’s better to determine individual identity and hope that fragments of the early stages suggest a connection.
Below are two completed paintings. Can you guess which ones they are in the grid?
